2This website does not track you

The site is a static presentation of our activity. It has no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up, no file uploads and no user accounts.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking technology. Nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what your browser needs to display the page. We do not profile you and we take no automated decisions about you.

3What data we handle, and why

Technical data. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and delivered through the Fastly content delivery network. Our hosting provider logs the IP address and basic browser information of visitors for security purposes. We do not have access to those logs and we do not use them ourselves. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Correspondence. If you write to us or call us, we process the data you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, your company and the content of your message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling the enquiry and maintaining business contact, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).

Business proposals. If you send us information about your company, including a pitch deck or financial data, we process it to assess a possible investment. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in evaluating investment opportunities (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If the material contains personal data of other people — founders, team members, shareholders — please make sure you are allowed to share it with us. We process such data on the same basis, and this policy also covers them.

4How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as the contact is live and afterwards for up to 3 years, and material relating to investment opportunities for up to 24 months from the last contact, unless we agree with you to continue the discussion or a longer period is needed to establish or defend legal claims. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention rules.

5Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. Data may be accessible to:

  • our hosting and content delivery providers, GitHub, Inc. and Fastly, Inc.;
  • our email and office software provider, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited;
  • companies within our group, where relevant to the matter you contacted us about;
  • our professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.

Our hosting provider is established in the United States, so technical data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards the provider applies, being the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details.

6Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, and to data portability where it applies. Because we rely on legitimate interest, you also have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

To exercise any of these rights, write to office@warsawequity.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warsaw, Poland.

7Is providing data required?

No. Contacting us is entirely voluntary. Without contact details we will not be able to reply.

Our site links to LinkedIn and to www.warsawequityasi.pl. These are ordinary links, not embedded plug-ins, so nothing is sent to those services until you click. Once you do, their own privacy policies apply.

9Changes

If we add functionality to the site — a contact form, a newsletter or analytics — we will update this policy before it goes live and change the date at the top.
